Dear St. Elizabeth's Community,
The future of St. Elizabeth’s School is undeniably promising! In our rapidly changing world, preparing students for success demands a dynamic and forward-thinking approach to education. Among the 35,000 independent schools nationwide, only two, including ours, are committed to achieving socioeconomic diversity in every grade. We achieve this through our sliding-scale tuition and by maintaining a balanced mix of students from upper, middle, and low-income families. As you are aware, our tuition model relies heavily on a broad base of supporters, both within and beyond our school community. Transforming the traditional model of affordability and accessibility is truly a collaborative endeavor!
I am thrilled to announce that yesterday's Annual Fall Breakfast was an astounding success. Through our collective efforts, we raised over $100,000 in support of St. Elizabeth’s and our mission. This event was not only inspiring but also an opportunity to honor Tom Owen with the Changemaker Award. As St. Elizabeth’s Honorary Grandpa, Tom's unwavering dedication and love for St. Elizabeth's have played a significant role in shaping our school's growth and success. His contributions have left an indelible mark on every corner of our community, and it is with profound gratitude that we celebrated his enduring impact.
The spirit of generosity, exemplified by individuals like Tom, is a vital pillar of our school's ethos. This generosity ensures that we can continue to provide our students with an exceptional education and foster a supportive, inclusive community. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Tom, and to Kelly Church (Director of Philanthropy), Ginny Bishop (Development Consultant), Emily Randall (Development Manager), and our Greg Movesian and Ronni McCaffrey (Development Committee Co-Chairs), as well as committee members Tracey Campbell, Nan Oudet, Sara Yelpaala, Emily Musser, and Steve Marsters.
We are also excited to extend an invitation to prospective families to join us at our Open House tomorrow from 9:00–11:00 AM! Please tell your friends and neighbors to spend some time with us tomorrow morning and to learn more about the vibrant community and strong program we have cultivated at St. Elizabeth's.
We are profoundly grateful for your integral role in our St. Elizabeth's community. Together, we will continue to inspire and shape the future for our remarkable students.
Best foot forward,
