Dear St. Elizabeth's Community,
As we embrace the budding signs of spring (winter is not quite done with us yet!), we also mark a significant celebration in our calendars: Women's History Month. This month is dedicated to reflecting on the countless contributions of women to our society, culture, and communities. It's a time to honor the trailblazers of the past, support the leaders of the present, and inspire the visionaries of the future.
This year, Women's History Month holds a special significance as we recognize a landmark moment in the history of our school. For the first time, our leadership team is composed entirely of women—Kelly Church, Amber Hornbacher, Kim Johnson, Loree Lindsey, Jamika McNally, Ruth Poulsen, and Nikki Winans. The chance to work alongside such remarkable women—and to contribute to shaping a generation of thoughtful, compassionate, and empowered leaders—is truly a privilege. This milestone is not just a reflection of our school's commitment to diversity and inclusion but a testament to our belief in the power of female leadership to inspire positive change.
Our school's mission, deeply rooted in excellence and inclusivity, aligns with the values we celebrate during Women's History Month. We are committed to providing an environment where every student, regardless of gender, has the opportunity to see themselves reflected in the leaders around them. By fostering a community that uplifts female voices and perspectives, we empower our students to challenge stereotypes, embrace equity, and advocate for themselves and others.
In closing, I want to express my gratitude for the opportunity to serve in a community that values female leadership. As we move forward, let us continue to support and uplift one another, fostering an environment where all students can learn from the diverse experiences and wisdom of those who lead them.
Thank you for your ongoing support and partnership. Together, we are making history!
Best foot forward,
Adriana Murphy
