Lower School

The visual arts program at St. Elizabeth’s School is a fine arts curriculum. Students in grade K-5 learn about the elements of art, the techniques of the artistic masters, and students are immersed in an abundance of artistic mediums, including pencil, pen and ink, watercolor, acrylics, multi-media and three-dimensional projects, and more.

Middle School

The middle school arts program provides students with an understanding of how the language of visual arts leads to a deeper understanding of others and self. In middle school, students will have an opportunity to study and explore two and three-dimensional art, drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, crafts, art history and art appreciation. Students will experiment with various artistic styles, techniques and materials. They will create artwork using the elements, principles and qualities of art, develop their own ideas and personal creative expression through imagination, and expand their ability for consideration and critical thinking.
