Dear St. Elizabeth’s Community,
It has been a complex and emotional two weeks for our school. Through the news of our planned closure and Adriana’s unexpected surgery, I’ve been reminded again and again of what makes this community extraordinary — your compassion, courage, and deep care for one another.
Even amid uncertainty, there has been so much to admire: the way teachers continue to pour love and creativity into their classrooms, students lift each other up with kindness and laughter, and families step forward with steady support and understanding. The strength of this community is not measured by circumstance but by how we show up for each other — and in that, we are truly strong.
Adriana is recovering well and in good spirits. She will be out for several weeks but remains closely connected. In the meantime, our leadership, faculty, and staff are working seamlessly together — all focused on ensuring that each day at St. Elizabeth’s continues to be full of learning, joy, and connection.
As we look ahead, we will continue to share updates and opportunities for engagement. I look forward to gathering with parents this Friday at pickup for Cookies and Connection. Board members will be available during parent–teacher conferences — please feel free to drop by the conference room if you’d like to connect or ask questions. We appreciate your partnership and perspectives as we move forward together.
Thank you for all you bring to this community. Your grace and generosity make St. E’s what it is — a place of joy, purpose, and heart.
With gratitude,
Sara Yelpaala
