Dear St. Elizabeth's Community,
What an incredible first week we've had at St. Elizabeth’s! It was great seeing many of you at Orientation on Wednesday; here’s the slide deck in case you missed it. Walking through our hallways and visiting classrooms this week, I've been filled with joy watching our students reconnect with friends, meet their new teachers, and dive into learning with enthusiasm and curiosity. To our returning families, thank you for your continued trust in our school community. To our new families, welcome! We're thrilled you're here and have chosen to join our school family! The 2025–2026 school year has a lot in store, please sign up on this volunteer form to see how you can pitch in.
Our teachers have been working tirelessly to create engaging, nurturing classroom environments where every child can thrive. One of the most touching moments of the week was watching our beloved "Bookends" tradition unfold—seeing our 8th graders proudly walk hand-in-hand with our kindergarteners into our first assembly of the year. This beautiful symbol of mentorship and care perfectly captures the spirit of our school community, where our oldest students embrace their role as leaders and protectors of our youngest learners. I've been especially impressed by the kindness and inclusivity our students have demonstrated throughout the week, truly embodying the values that make our school community shine.
As we settle into the rhythm of the new school year, please know that my door is always open. In our Newsletter, you can find important information to help you stay connected with all that's happening at school. Here's to an amazing year ahead filled with learning, laughter, growth, and countless memorable moments. Thank you for being such an integral part of what makes our school a place where children love to learn and grow.
Together, we go far!
Best foot forward,
Adriana Murphy
