Dear St. Elizabeth’s School Community,

May always reminds me that we are fast approaching a bittersweet time—the end of another successful, inspiring, and rewarding school year. While I always feel a bit blue seeing our lively campus quiet down, there’s an undeniable buzz of excitement in the students as they anticipate a summer of fun and adventure.

Reflecting on this spring, I am struck by the sense of community, collaboration, and learning we have fostered together. We faced our share of challenges and grew from them, but we also created countless memorable and impactful moments. Our Fun Run brought us all together and was a tremendous success! Our Spring Showcase highlighted the diverse artistic and musical abilities of our student body. This year, our Overnight Trips for Grades 5th– 8th were a resounding success. From exploring the aquarium to adventures in the mountains, from rafting trips to the Cal-Wood Education Center, our students made lasting memories and learned valuable lessons outside the classroom.

As we look ahead, there is much to be excited about: the Talent Show, the 8th Grade Capstone Dinner, Field Day, the 8th Grade vs. Staculty Kickball game, and of course, 8th Grade Graduation. These events offer wonderful opportunities for our community to come together and celebrate our students’ achievements and talents.

For the 8th graders, know that you will be greatly missed, but also remember that you have an entire community of cheerleaders here, eager to see and celebrate the amazing things you will achieve! Take a moment to reflect on your growth this year and know that the Staculty and I are incredibly proud of you.

We are also proud of our 5th graders following their continuation ceremony this morning. Watching them take this important step was an inspirational way to begin the day, and it filled us with pride and hope for their future.

As May swiftly passes, I am reminded of the goodbyes and hellos that await us—farewell to a wonderful school year and our incredible 8th graders, and welcome to a summer of rest, renewal, and new adventures. It’s time to dream of a summer filled with exciting possibilities. I can’t wait to hear all about your adventures when we return.

Best Foot Forward,
