St. Elizabeth’s opened with one kindergarten class in September 2007 on twenty acres of beautiful property owned and governed by the George W. Clayton Foundation, site of the original orphanage for boys, well known throughout Denver as the Clayton College.

St. Elizabeth’s School serves many of Denver’s urban communities, which includes families from a wide range of social, racial, ethnic and economic backgrounds. The school is be centrally located to draw from the Curtis, Five Points, Capital Hill, Cheeseman Park, Clayton, Congress Park, all of Park Hill and City Park neighborhoods, Stapleton and all of Denver’s northeast neighborhoods.
